Force-on-force field time

Why agencies train here

Qualifying on the range and responding to a call are not the same skill set. Force-on-force training puts officers against live role players in dynamic scenarios — building search, woodland movement, traffic-stop setups, and team communication under pressure.

Coyote Field in Ladoga is a private outdoor venue about 40–45 minutes west of Indianapolis via I-74 — woods, city-style CQB structures, and a barn for briefings and after-action reviews. Your department gets exclusive field time, not mixed open play.

Book private airsoft or paintball training days from $40/player with a $50 deposit online. Balance billed per player at check-in for groups of 4–60. For magfed paintball with First Strike Rounds (FSR), longer blocks, or custom scheduling, note it at booking or contact us.

Scenario environments

What departments can run

Coyote provides the field, structures, and hosted game flow — your training officers bring role players, scenarios, and department policy. Common setups include:

  • Building search and CQB in the city-style field.
  • Woodland movement, cover, and team bounding.
  • Traffic-stop and ambiguous-encounter role-player days.
  • Team communication drills under time pressure.
  • After-action reviews on the barn pad.
  • Magfed paintball with First Strike Rounds (FSR) — fin-stabilized marking rounds from First Strike, sister brand to PepperBall — for higher accuracy and mag-fed handling than hopper roundball.

What visitors say

★★★★★

Been playing here fairly regularly since not long after they started. Absolutely phenomenal work by the owners and refs — easily the best field I've been to in the state.

Insanely awesome field! Went as a brand new airsofter and it was totally worth it. Cheap admission and rentals — turnout was massive and game modes were very good.

Being in Lafayette with other fields over an hour and a half away was a pain. Once Coyote opened I made the wonderful half hour drive — and it is awesome. Staff is amazing, Saturday AND Sunday play starts at noon.

Agency training FAQ

Private force-on-force field days run during daylight hours. Book online with a $50 deposit, or contact us for magfed + FSR or custom scheduling.

Is this certified police training?

No. Coyote provides private force-on-force field time with paintball and airsoft — scenario environments, a dedicated host, and exclusive field access. Your department supplies role players, scenarios, and policy.

Is this Simunition?

No. Simunition FX fires marking cartridges from converted duty weapons. We run paintball and airsoft force-on-force, including First Strike Rounds (FSR) — fin-stabilized marking rounds from First Strike, sister brand to PepperBall.

Paintball or airsoft?

Both are available. Airsoft works well for longer engagements and lighter impact; paintball gives highly visible hits for accountability. For higher realism, request magfed paintball with First Strike Rounds — sold at the field with magfed rentals available.

Can we bring our own markers?

Yes, if equipment passes chrono and safety review. FSR-capable magfed markers are welcome. Simunition FX and UTM conversion kits are not the product on this page.

How do we book?

Pay a $50 deposit online to reserve your date; balance billed per player at check-in for groups of 4–60. Note magfed + FSR or longer blocks at booking, or contact us for custom quotes.
